CCTV Operator Training

The CCTV Licence, officially known as the Public Space Surveillance (PPS) Licence, permits individuals to work in the private security sector as professional CCTV Operators.

CCTV Operators work primarily in control rooms, monitoring live feeds from surveillance cameras placed in locations such as offices, retail spaces, and public areas. CCTV Operator Training Duration

This is a three days course with a mandatory self-study component and 9 hours of in-classroom training.

4 Multiple-choice exams & practical assessments. Here are the details for the MCQ exams:

► Unit 1 (72 questions) Pass mark = 70%
► Unit 2 (40 questions) Pass mark = 70%

CCTV Operator Training Certification
You will be awarded the CCTV Operator Training Certificate in the Private Security Industry after completing the course.
CCTV Operator Training Requirements
To qualify for an SIA Training, you must:
    • Be 18 years or older
    • Must have Enlighs level 1 and Can Speak, Read and Write
    • A valid passport or a current UK Driving Licence
    • Two proofs of address such as utility bills or separate bank statements
